Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the RoylonAI platform operated by RoylonAI (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Service Description

RoylonAI is a Swiss-hosted platform that provides AI-powered question answering with citation verification, structured data extraction, and PII redaction on documents uploaded by users.

2. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • One person or entity per Free plan account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that violates applicable laws
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use the service for competitive benchmarking without consent
  • Share account credentials with unauthorized users

4. Your Data

  • You retain all rights to documents you upload
  • We process your documents solely to provide the service
  • We do not use your data to train AI models

5. Service Availability

  • We target 99.9% uptime for paid plans
  • Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance
  • Free plans have no uptime guarantee

6. Billing

  • Prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and exclude VAT. VAT is calculated at checkout based on your billing country and any VAT ID you provide.
  • Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. No charge occurs during the trial period.
  • After the trial, paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
  • If you cancel within 14 days of your first paid invoice, contact billing@roylon.ai for a full refund. Beyond this window, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
  • You can cancel at any time. Paid access continues through the end of your current billing period.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • For customers based in the EU with a valid VAT ID: reverse-charge applies. Invoices will show 0% VAT and you remain liable for VAT in your own jurisdiction.

7. Limitation of Liability

RoylonAI provides AI-generated answers that should be verified by qualified professionals. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

8. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our retention policy

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
